Enrique declined to remark on whether he felt his players needed him to stay in control while speaking to Journalists ahead of Barcelona's Copa de Rey quarter-last second leg with Real Sociedad. The former Barcelona and Spain midfielder has clinched every trophy possible in the two-and-a-half years since succeeding Gerardo Martino in 2014, including successive league titles and Copa del Reys as well as the 2015 Champions League.
