Police in Southern Kentucky arrested a man in a creepy clown suit lurking near the woods Friday. The arrest comes amid a wave of reports of suspicious clowns in at least six other U.S. states. Police in Middlesboro, Ky., charged Jonathan Martin, 20, with disorderly conduct and wearing a mask in public after he was spotted crouched next to a wooded area near an apartment complex wearing “a full clown costume.”“Upon my stopping when I saw the clown, he started running,” an officer wrote in the arrest report, according to WDRB. Martin was still wearing the costume in his police mug shot.
