Kentucky attorney general asks FBI to investigate former Gov. Matt Bevin’s pardons

Kentucky’s new Republican attorney general has asked the FBI to investigate a flurry of pardons by former Gov. AdvertisementBevin, a Republican, issued hundreds of pardons between his electoral defeat on Nov. 5 and his final day in office on Dec. 9. The pardons also have attracted the attention of Russell Coleman, the U.S. attorney for Kentucky’s Western District.
