Kenny Jackett hailed match-winner Ronan Curtis after Portsmouth boosted their Sky Bet League One promotion hopes with a 1-0 win over 10-man Ipswich at Fratton Park. Curtis’ strike five minutes into the second half was enough to earn Pompey all three points. Home manager Jackett said: “What Ronan is doing is good, very good. “He’s got nine goals this season and it was a fantastic strike today and he’s nearly taken the keeper into the net with it. “They had a sizeable contingent from Ipswich today but we kept them quiet which does show the level of performance.
