Sweets manufacturer Kenafric Industries has launched a footwear and stationery divisions under Kenafric Manufacturing Limited. The reorganisation will not involve any job losses as manufacturing facilities remain the same but employees working under the footwear and stationery division will be transitioned at Kenafric Manufacturing. “This initiative will create a high performing culture to grow our value proposition of manufacturing quality and affordable products. It will help us to meet the challenges of rapidly changing consumer needs and preferences and trading procedures within East Africa and our export markets,” Kenafric Industries executive director Mikul Shah said.
