With the Ghana Football Association (GFA) searching for a new head coach after dismissing Otto Addo, Augustt says the country cannot risk appointing an untested candidate. According to him, appointing a coach with World Cup pedigree is non-negotiable at this stage, making Appiah the most logical candidate for the role. “He has been with the team before, been to the World Cup, and knows a good number of the Black Stars players. He questioned the timing of Addo’s dismissal and raised concerns about what he described as questionable structural changes within the national team setup.
