Kempegowda-Majestic interchange station to be ready by Dec 31

BENGALURU: On Friday, city development minister K J George embarked on an inspection of Bengaluru's first underground interchange metro station in Majestic. Infrastructural development is difficult amid thickly populated areas of the city but BMRCL has almost achieved this. "The trial run on elevated parts of the southern corridor from National College station to Puttenahalli will begin around November 18. The underground stretch between Sampige road to KR Market will take time to be electrified, Kharola said during the inspection. The trial run of trains between the 4km of north-south corridor will begin form January and go on until the safety certificate is obtained.
