The moment a brave kelpie chases after a shark swimming close to its owners in shallow water has been captured on video. Jack Strickland was filming the shark when his dog Tilly bounded through the water on the privately-owned Haggerstone Island Resort in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park off Far North Queensland on October 10. Mr Strickland, who runs a blog called Back 2 Basics Adventures, posted the video to Instagram last week with the caption: 'Tilly the guard dog keeping the sharks away from Haggerstone Island.' In a video filmed on Queensland's Haggerstone Island, a shark (left) can be seen swimming around in shallow waters ominously close to shore of a beach. Mr Strickland is currently staying on Haggerstone Island with his friend, who is working at the tropical resort.
