People like May, even if they think she’s a bit kooky and don’t know much about her party. The Greens, on the other hand, are a threat to nobody and thus can be indulged. There was a tremor in the Green universe after the party voted at a policy convention to adopt a punitive policy aimed at Israel. If they were real lucky, the Greens could even end up with the balance of power, as they have elsewhere. Principles should mean something in every party, but a party with only one seat shouldn’t be split over what it believes.
