Abdullah, who is also Kelantan assembly speaker, said that the state government under PAS had given equal treatment to other races despite Kelantan having the lowest population of minorities in the country. He urged the PAS Supporters Club to work harder to provide explanations to non-Muslims so that they would not fear the Islamist party. He claimed that PAS had practised good governance in 27 years of ruling Kelantan as none of its leaders were embroiled in corruption cases.
