A kleptomaniac cat in New Zealand has taken his thieving habits to a new extreme, stealing drugs and a pair of lacy knickers from the neighbours, according to his owners. ‘Keith the thief’, as he has been dubbed by the local community in Christchurch, began his wave of terror over three years ago. Throughout his criminal career, Keith has been indiscriminate, stealing entire washing lines, live eels from the local river and even the shirt of a neighbouring prison officer.
