MPs Alfred Keter and Oscar Sudi have asked Kiambu Governor William Kabogo to mind his business and keep off Rift Valley politics. The remarks were "useless and reckless", Keter said on Thursday, citing violence witnessed in Rift Valley as a result of political indifferences. Keter (Nandi Hills) and Sudi (Kapseret) responded to sentiments by Kabogo that the Mt Kenya region will not back DP William Ruto's 2022 bid for the presidency. He noted that Rift valley suffered most from violence in past elections. He reiterated support for Ruto "not because he is a Kalenjin but because he has the capability to lead this nation".
