KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail has called on PKR deputy president Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali to remain calm over his dissenting views on the party president's recent appointment of leaders. She was asked about Azmin airing his dissatisfaction in the public over PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's appointments, which saw former vice-president Rafizi Ramli being reinstated to his old post. Also present was Youth and Sports Minister Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman. When asked about reports saying that Azmin might challenge Anwar for the party's presidency in the future, Dr Wan Azizah said anybody could do that. When asked on calls for Rashid to step down, Syed Saddiq said it was best for it to be discussed "in the presidential council".
