The Kebbi State Government has stated its commitment to establish a Commission for Disability, to cater to Persons With Disabilities in the state. The state’s Commissioner for Information and Culture, Yakubu Ahmed, disclosed this while briefing journalists shortly after the State Executive Council meeting held at the Government House, Birnin Kebbi, the state capital, on Wednesday. He said, “During our SEC meeting presided over by Governor Nasir Idris, the Executive Governor of Kebbi State, we have deliberated and arrived at a position on three number of issues. Declaring the training open at the Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic, Birnin Kebbi, Governor Nasir Idris said his administration was determined to revolutionalise the state’s education sector. He urged teachers, parents and other stakeholders to join hands with his administration to move the education sector forward.
