GUWAHATI: The flood situation in Assam worsened today as five more deaths were reported, taking the toll to 44. "The animals are dying in road accidents on a daily basis. What are your traffic sensors doing? Tell us, why the sensors are not able to protect these animals," the bench said.A wild elephant crosses a road near the flood affected Kaziranga National Park in Assam. Food, water, medicines and other essential commodities are being supplied to these camps by the respective district authorities.
