Bren Orton, 23, from Warrington, described the “moment of no return” as his kayak sped towards the Big Banana Falls. Mr Orton: “I was nervous but also felt super relaxed”It is the highest waterfall ever navigated by a British kayaker and the second highest descent in history. Mr Orton said he now wanted to equal the world record by paddling 189ft down the Palouse Falls in the US, adding that he had identified even higher falls to navigate. Mr Orton described the moment he approached the edge.
