Kawakawa hip hop teens shine on world stageBAYLEY MOOR/STUFF Tukotahi and Hailey Mareikura-Edmonds in Kawakawa. Kawakawa teens Tukotahi and Hailey Mareikura-Edmonds say they are proud to represent their town on the world stage. The pair have recently returned from the World Hip Hop Dancing Championships, dancing for Yung ID, a crew from Identity Dance Company. The company is one of New Zealand's best and has won back to back World Hip Hop Dancing Championships. The World Hip Hop Dance Championships were held in Phoenix, in the United States from August 7-12.
