more-inThe Special Investigation Team (SIT) on Tuesday questioned Kavya Madhavan, actress and wife of actor Dileep, in connection with the abduction and sexual abuse of a female actor in Kochi. According to officials, the interrogation was held at the ancestral house of actor Dileep in Aluva. Meanwhile, the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court, Angamaly, on Tuesday extended the remand period of actor Dileep, accused in the case, till August 8. The actor was produced before the court through videoconferencing as the remand period of the actor ended on Tuesday. The step follows an earlier statement by Mr. George alleging a conspiracy against actor Dileep.
