After what feels like forever (but was actually only a few days of waiting), Katy Perry has finally released her new single “Chained To The Rhythm.”The tune is typical of Perry’s songwriting style, though she did change up the music, if only slightly. This time around, the star delivered a big beat pop track with the slightest hints of reggae, which makes sense considering the song features newcomer Skip Marley. Expectations are extremely high for the record, as every album the pop star has released has been massively successful, especially singles-wise. To promote “Chained To The Rhythm,” Perry’s marketing team tethered disco balls to various locations in major cities all around the world. “Chained To The Rhythm” is Perry’s first single since “Rise,” which she premiered in the summer of 2016.
