Shahid Kapoor will be seen in Shree Narayan Singh’s next venture Batti Singh Meter Chalu and it was reported that Katrina Kaif was in talks for the female lead of the film. However, news is now that the actress has opted out of the Shahid Kapoor starrer. Sources claim that, “The director had given her (Katrina) a script narration. She was keen on being part of the project, but there was no way she could juggle the dates. As Katrina will not be free till March, we couldn’t wait for Katrina.”Shahid Kapoor and Katrina Kaif have never appeared in a film together and Shahid apparently told some friends that Kaif had been avoiding him on purpose.
