As per Mercury News , Meyer had twice been the women's soccer team captain and had twice made it to the Pacific-12 Conference's honour roll. “Katie was extraordinarily committed to everything and everyone in her world,” the Stanford statement read. “Katie was an outstanding student-athlete and a beloved, passionate leader here at Stanford.
