Just a day before, following much anticipation, the first official image of their romantic wedding was unveiled, shortly before Kate and Rio began littering their Instagram accounts with further insight into their lavish celebrations. Kate and Rio marked the nuptials with a lavish three-day celebration, with Kate's mother describing the ceremony as the 'best day of my life'. The Mayor of Marmaris, Mehmet Oktay, claimed he officiated the couple's lavish wedding at the hotel. Kate also had a similar Rio doll for her own hen do on the Greek island of Mykonos two weekends beforehand.
