Protesters demand world community to play their role in settling the decades-old disputeLONDON: Thousands of British Kashmiris took to the streets here on Sunday to condemn the 72 years of Indian occupation of Jammu and Kashmir. The protesters chanted slogans like “Indian troops quit Kashmir” and “we want freedom”. “Every day in IOK is the day of suppression and oppression where nobody knows what is going to happen with them. Pir Sultan Fayazul Hassan thanked the British Kashmiris for attending the massive anti-India protest. He said British Kashmiris will also continue to support the Kashmir cause vehemently in the future.
