Suspected militants fled with at least five guns taken from security men guarding a TV tower in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag district, a police spokesman said on Monday. The armed men barged into the guardroom of the tower in Dalvash area of the southern district late on Sunday night. They overpowered the security and snatched the weapons before fleeing. “A hunt has been launched to nab the suspected rebels,” sources added. The men snatched one Insas and carbine rifle each, and three self-loading rifles.
