Azimio deputy presidential candidate Martha Karua has called on residents of Rift Valley and Kenyans to keep peace and unity before, during and after the August 9, elections. Karua said the political competition was not enmity and Kenyans should prepare to participate in the polls while ensuring the country remains peaceful. She was speaking at the Ayub Kinyua PCEA church in Eldoret where she attended a church service ahead of campaign rallies in the region. Karua received a rousing welcome at the church where she also urged religious leaders to pray for the country ahead of the polls. Karua will later have a roadside meeting at the main market in Eldoret before the main rally at Huruma grounds.
