The Karnataka Co-operative Milk Producer's Federation (KMF) has announced its second price hike within a year, effective from June 26. Under its brand "Nandini," milk prices will increase by ₹2 per litre, with the adjustment remaining in place until further notice. KMF defends the price hike by highlighting that its revised prices remain competitive compared to other co-operatives and milk brands in major states across India. Karnataka's Chief Minister Siddaramaiah previously justified these adjustments by noting that the revised prices still undercut those observed in other states.
