BENGALURU: Karnataka home minister R Ramalinga Reddy on Wednesday triggered a controversy in the political circles by branding BJP leaders, including the party's national president Amit Shah , as 'terrorists'.Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a police function in Belagavi, a soft-spoken Reddy stunned all with his fiery comment: "The BJP leaders are terrorists in Karnataka. It will be better if they know something about how law works," Reddy added. The BJP retorted by charging the Congress with fostering and protecting real terrorists. BJP state general secretary C T Ravi said: "The Congress' claim smacks of hypocrisy. The BJP has been fighting terrorism and it is irony that the Congress tries to term patriots as terrorists. The Congress has been protecting real terrorists for its political gains and this was evident in the Ishrat Jahan case too.
