Photo: Hemant Mishra/MintBengaluru: In a major revamp, Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah on Sunday sacked 14 ministers and inducted 13 members into his council of ministry in the long-awaited exercise. The chief minister Siddaramaiah has embarked upon the exercise more than three years after assuming office on 13 May 2013. In the reshuffle, the chief minister has tried to balance equations of caste and region. Ahead of the swearing in, Siddaramaiah had recommended the sacking of 14 ministers which the governor accepted.
