The Times Now news channel informed the electoral body that it accessed the details about the poll schedule from informed sources. “Given that the information wasn’t entirely accurate, it is obvious it wasn’t a leak,” said the letter uploaded on the Commission’s website. Another letter by Suvarna News to the Commission said that for national news, it largely relied upon national news channels and it had taken the news after Times Now broke it.
