Karen Aline McKinnon and Christopher Jerome Wnuk are to be married Sept. 16 at the Sunrise Amphitheater, an outdoor events space in Boulder, Colo. H. Patrick Furman, a professor emeritus of law at the University of Colorado Boulder, is to lead them in their vows. She received a master’s degree in geophysics from the Victoria University of Wellington in Wellington, New Zealand. She is the daughter of Genevieve Devaud and J. Thomas McKinnon, both of Boulder. The bride's father is a chemical engineering professor emeritus at the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colo.
