Karachi kidnapping: Five-year-old recovered, suspected kidnappers killed
AVCC, CPLC conducted joint operationThe Anti-Violent Crime Cell (AVCC) in collaboration with the Citizens-Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) claim to have killed two suspected kidnappers on Saturday allegedly involved in the kidnapping of school-going children in Defence. Five-year-old Muhammad Abban was kidnapped on his way back from school with his mother from Haque Academy, a private school in Defence, on Wednesday. Five-year-old boy kidnapped in Karachi’s DefenceThe joint team of CPLC, AVCC and Rangers Special Task Centre began investigating the case after receiving a call from the kidnappers. The investigation was later transferred to AVCC Karachi for detection and apprehension of the kidnappers. AVCC SSP reported to the Sindh Inspector-General Allah Dino Khawaja that AVCC and CPLC personnel conducted a joint operation to arrest the kidnappers.
