Workers of Pakistan's Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) party today resorted to violence outside the office of a private news channel in Saddar area of Karachi. POLICE VAN, MOTORBIKE SET ABLAZEAngry workers set ablaze a police van and a motorbike and about five persons were injured in the police firing. Sources said that the new channel office was located in the middle of the popular Zainab Market. MQM chief Altaf Hussain reportedly ordered his workers to carry out the protest outside the channel's office. The party workers had attacked ARY and Samaa channels, however they failed to vandalize Geo TV.
