HÀ NỘI — Kaohsiung Truth of Chinese Taipei defeated Việt Nam’s Saigon Heat 85-71 in the eighth match of the ASEAN Basketball League (ABL) at Kaohsiung Municipal Senior High School on February 1. It was a huge win to start their three-game home stand, which will be their best shot at building a lead against the other two teams chasing the final spot in the playoffs. On January 14, Heat had beaten Truth by 99-85. On Friday, Truth will take on the league-leading Slingers, while Heat will travel to Davao City to face Alab Pilipinas of the Philippines again on February 5.
