Kanye West is back in the news for something that does not relate to the outrage over his comment on slavery being a choice. Apparently, the recently-hired YEEZY designer tried to take credit for work that was not theirs, eventually resulting in his immediate removal from the company following West’s tweet. West wrote,“Today I learned that a newly hired designer on the Yeezy team presented work that was not of their own. He made the announcement on Twitter, saying, “I love the 700 V2s.”The new shoes look like a mix of the Boost 500 (also referred to as the Desert Rat) and the Boost 700 (known as the Wave Runner) silhouettes. The shoes follow the chunky sneaker trend, which became big in 2017, eventually dominating as the biggest footwear trend of the year.
