THE suspended Chairman of the Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-corruption Commission, Muhyi Rimingado, said the state anti-graft commission had stopped getting foreign grants since Governor Abdullahi Ganduje was alleged to have collected bribe in dollars. “I think this is the right time to set the record straight; the dollar video bribery allegation has attracted the ire of foreign donors and has seriously undermined the achievements we recorded as the only committed state anti-corruption outfit in Nigeria. “Even our outside inter-agency relations and interactions with other non-state actors had suffered a great set back,” he said. The embattled anti-graft czar also admitted to have been notified that the Kano State Government had filed a case of false information against him before a Magistrates’ Court. The Assembly later accused Rimingado of forging a medical record from the National Hospital, Abuja, to justify their action.
