The number of casualties in the gruesome killings of members of one family in a Kano community has risen to seven, the Kano Police Command confirmed. Suspected assailants reportedly killed a housewife and her four children, including an infant child, in their home early Saturday in Kano. The neighbour who came out of the house told us she found everyone in the house in a pool of their blood. Spokesperson of the Kano Police Command, CSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, has confirmed the ugly development, revealing that an investigation has been launched to unravel the circumstances. “Bodies were evacuated and rushed to Murtala Mohammed Specialist Hospital, Kano, where they were pronounced dead.
