“It was first seen in the market area, near the crime scene and at 5:36 am it was seen passing through Chandimandir Toll Plaza, an hour later at Dappar Toll plaza and then Panipat Toll Plaza. After analysing the CCTV footage of various cameras installed in the market areas, the police had concluded that an Innova car bearing registration number of Delhi (DL-04C-AE1449) was used in the crime. The driver was identified as Jagdish, 40, a resident of Burari, North Delhi, who was arrested by a team from CIA-2. A WEEK after the murder of a jeweller’s son in Kalka by two persons who fled with jewellery worth Rs 50 lakh, the Panchkula police have identified the gang that carried out the crime and traced the Innova car that was used in the crime and its driver. “It is a Delhi-based gang and the accused are residents of Nandnagri or Sunder Nagri in Delhi.
