Passengers of the Kalindi Express had a lucky escape after the train derailed near Tundla in Uttar Pradesh's Firozabad. There were no casualties or injuries in the incident, which took place after the express collided with a goods train. The engine and the first general coach of the express train, which runs from Kanpur Central to Bhiwani Junction in Haryana, derailed in the incident. The rest of the train department for its destination at 5.20 am, the Railway Ministry said. The accident has adversely affected train traffic and the Indian Railways is diverting trains via Ghaziabad on the down line and via Agra on the up line.
