The Sofapaka club chairman believes that the federation’s move to expel the team from the top-tier league was done out of malice. Kalekwa feels that the club’s relegation was a personal war being waged on him by the federation. “I started this team in 2003 without any sponsor and there is no time I have failed to run it professionally. Both clubs appealed the decision to the FKF Appeals Committee, and they were asked to submit their documents afresh.
