A search that continued all day Monday ended when the body of Dr Phaisan Tungchaemdeewattana, 45, surfaced about three kilometres downstream from the bridge where his car had been found abandoned in Tambon Chao Thai, Kamalasai district. A security camera recorded Phaisan parking his car and walking towards the bridge, but not returning. A resident told police he’d seen Phaisan sitting on the bridge’s concrete railing at about 8pm Sunday and about 30 minutes later noticed he was gone.
