In a sharp reaction to the Jana Sena chief’s visit, the minister told media persons in Rajamahendravaram on Wednesday that by visiting the rain-hit farmers and inquiring about the damage or loss to the crops, they would not cast their votes for the Jana Sena. He described the tour of the three leaders to visit the rain-hit fields and console the farmers in order to absolve themselves from their sins, and he flayed them for trying to influence the farmers. However, the minister said that though the three leaders were trying to influence the farmers to get their support by touring the rain-hit areas like ‘Teertha Yatra’, they could not get the farmers’ support.
