Omela scored the second try in the second half but the conversion was unsuccessful but they had done enough to win the match. “The victory is a big motivation to the players who are preparing for this year’s Secondary School Games,” Butala said. In the boys’ hockey final, Kakamega High School defeated Mumias Club 2-1. Earlier in the semi-finals, Kakamega overcame St. Peter’s Secondary School 1-0, while Mumias Club stopped Bokoli Secondary School 1-0.
