9 hours agoThe driver of a truck impounded by police transporting charcoal in Kajiado county on Monday night has pleaded guilty to charges of moving charcoal without a permit. What remains unclear though is why his companion in the truck at the time of the arrest was not charged. It is also not clear why the truck was allowed to move from Kitengela police station to The Kenya Forest Conservancy headquarters in Nairobi county before the suspect was charged.
