Ethiopian forward Abubeker Nassir is back on his bike moving upwards on the scoring charts as the prospect of his move to Kaizer Chiefs gains momentum. From being slow off the mark in the new BetKing Ethiopian Premier League with his club Ethiopian Coffee (Ethiopia Bunna) also failing to win in the opening four games, Nassir is back in the spotlight again. A brace two weeks ago against Jimma Aba Jifar in game number five of the season for his club opened his scoring for the season. Nassir struck his first for the day within the opening quarter-hour and then added his second from the penalty spot just after the hour mark. With Chiefs monitoring him with the thought of a January transfer move, Nassir will also be hoping to use the platform of the AFCON finals to attract further interest.
