Kaitlan Collins is going primetime, CNN’s Chris Licht confirmed on Wednesday. Deadline reports CNN Worldwide CEO Chris Licht said Collins will take over the 8 p.m. CT primetime slot, previously occupied by Chris Cuomo whom the network fired in December 2021. The news comes after the Alabama native moderated CNN’s Republican town hall with former President Donald Trump this month in New Hampshire. When she joined the network in 2017, Collins covered the Trump White House and quickly rose to the top of her field. We wish him the best.”More on Kaitlan Collins:Kaitlan Collins, a die-hard Alabama football fan, has perfected her gameday routineKaitlan Collins talks ‘huge’ differences between Donald Trump and Joe Biden administrationsKaitlan Collins reacts to Don Lemon’s CNN departure
