Sen. Tim Kaine, D-Va., indicated Thursday that the Obama administration didn't do enough to punish Russia for Moscow's attempt to meddle in the 2016 election. "The Obama administration didn't do that in 2016, even though they were aware of the attack. They didn't make Russia pay a price,"Kaine was the running mate of 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, who was defeated by Republican Donald Trump. Days later, the Obama administration expelled 35 Russian diplomats in connection with cyber-attacks during the campaign.
