A statement this morning from Civil Defence said those on board would be transported to the Horncastle Arena where a reception area had been set up. This will bring the total number of people evacuated from Kaikoura to more than 900 since Monday morning's devastating 7.8 magnitude quake. Canterbury Civil Defence controller Don Chittock says there's a mix of people on the ship but thinks most will be the last of the tourists. There'll be another assessment over whether more people need to be evacuated from Kaikoura shortly.
