NewsA Councilor of the Kaduwela Municipal Council has been arrested in connection with the investigation into the alleged shooting incident which targetted Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of SAITM, Sameera Senaratne last year. The suspect, Wilathgamuwage Don Aruna Lakmal Kushantha was arrested yesterday by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) over the alleged shooting of the CEO of SAITM on February 6, 2017. He was produced before the Kaduwela Magistrate's Court, where detectives obtained a 48-hour detention order to question him.
