The much-awaited album of Rajinikanth's film Kabali had a simple launch at the Sathyam Cinemas in Chennai. Soundarya Rajinikanth presided over the ceremony and received the first copy of the album. The makers of Kabali initially planned to release the album on April 12, but they chose to unveil the album a day ahead of the actual release date. Starring Rajinikanth and Radhika Apte in lead roles, Kabali follows the life of a gangster.
