TV47 recruited news anchors Fred Indimuli and Ahmed Bahajj, who previously worked at KTN News, and appointed Joe Munene as its new CEO. Ahmed Bahajj quit KTN News after four years, and six months where he was a show host, news anchor, and reporter. Before joining, KTN, Bahajj worked at China Radio International, where he was a sports journalist. On the other hand, Indumuli worked at KTN News as a news anchor, hosting Inside Politics and reading prime-time news. At KBC, Indimuli was part of the new team recruited to boost the fortunes of the state-owned media house after a revamp.
